About the job Restaurant Manager - Italian Cuisine Job brief: We are looking for a Restaurant Manager for an Italian fine dining restaurant to lead all aspects of the business. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate the staff to provide excellent customer service. Role- Ensuring the Restaurant service, it's runed smoothly and following the General Manager direction
- Guide employees to follow and respect the restaurants standards
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties and task, following the Operational Standards
- Supervise the Opening, Interval and Closing duties for the FOH departments
- Set goals for performance achievements, including training, and briefing on policies
- Supporting the team to understand performance, targets, and goals
- Scheduling work hours and shifts
- Sharing company updates, financial results, and new objective
- Assisting the management team in resolving emergencies such as quality or costumer problem that might be escalated to the team
- Assisting in the team retention, supported by 'one to one' and appraisals created accordingly to the position
- Be involved in the hiring and firing activities
- Proven work experience in Italian cuisine as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
- BSc degree in Business Administration; hospitality management.
- Require is the capacity to take decision supporting the Management team
- Strong verbal and written communication with the guests and all the departments
- Be a leader whose employee feel open to communicating with by working on interpersonal skills
- Time management is a very important skill to have, to get everything done on schedule
- Ability to manage conflict well, issue come to resolutions and successful relationships are developed
