Braxtone is looking for dynamic and results-driven Senior Accountant for our newly opened entity. The applicant must have experience in Insurance or Brokerage . IMPORTANT NOTE: Only qualified candidates will be contacted for further steps. Main Purpose of Job: To handle the Insurance Broker company’s financial procedures, records and statements for compliance with the CBB and MOIC. Key Responsibilities: 1. General accounting · Records and maintains all financial transactions · Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports · Prepares annual Budgets and variance analysis · Accounts analysis · Preparation of VAT Reports · Preparation of IBR and other related financial reports for the CBB · Monitors intercompany accounts · Coordinate with Internal and External Auditor · Provide support to Finance Manager 2. Banking · Maintains bank accounts especially Client Money Account to comply with CBB requirements · Bank reconciliation · Maintains relationship with the bank relationship managers 3. Accounts Receivable · Maintain KYC · Issuance of debit notes/invoices · Reconciliation of customer accounts · Collection · Prepare weekly reports on Receivables, collections, aging etc. 4. Accounts Payable · Ensures that all insurance premium are paid to insurance companies on timely basis in compliance with CBB · Keep track of all payments and expenditures including invoices, statements, payrolls etc. · Scheduling of payments to ensure timely payments · Preparation of payments (cheques or transfers)· Preparation of weekly reports on payables Qualification Skills and Experience: · At least 3 years of experience in similar or related position or prior industry experience · CPA or equivalent licensure, preferred · Proficient in ERP systems or other accounting software · Knowledge of VAT and other Taxes in the GCC · Strong written and verbal communications · Multi-tasking · Outstanding knowledge of Computer applications. · Demonstrates ability to communicate the organizational strategic objectives and business targets. · Excellent problem solving, analytical, technical, IT and numerical abilities Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s):
