Junior Internal Auditor
Job details
· Evaluate the internal control of the company to protect against fraud and theft of the company’s assets, identify and assess areas of significant business risk. · Implement best audit and business practices in line with applicable internal audit standard and practices. · Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls. · Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks. · Ensure control management regarding financial reliability and compliance by making sure that directions and regulations are strictly adhered to · Determine the scope of internal audit and carry out audit of the company including accessing risk and taking the necessary risk management steps, document the audit process, prepares audit findings and offer solution to internal audit issues · Conduct follow up audits to monitor the implementation. · Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to the Management. · Act objectively by giving independent advice in order to ensure legality and achieve organizational goals · Maintain and improve on existing open communication with the management. · Strive to continuously develop knowledge in the sector regarding rules, regulations, best practices, techniques and performance standards · Participate in meetings with different departments/divisions in order to update audit findings and improve on the audit process · Work in a team in order to achieve the aims and objectives of the company. · Supervise, train, and mentor staff, including interns on audit processes; and access the performance of staff · Conduct risk assessments and also prepare risk registers for the company · Performs other related tasks as assigned by the management. Desired Candidate Profile Must have inter CA, with minimum 5 years experience in the same field in the construction Sector. Employment Type Full Time Company Industry
