It is the incumbent and job to administer and prescribe psychotherapeutic treatments and medications in order to treat illnesses and disorders. The incumbent must also confer with physicians, psychiatric nurses, psychologists, social workers and healthcare professionals. The incumbent and job includes active listening skills, critical thinking skills, complex problem-solving skills and social perceptiveness. The incumbent should be aware of others and reactions helps to assess such situations accordingly.
