My client is a leading provider of HVAC solutions worldwide and they are expanding their Middle East operations, with a focus on Dubai and Saudi Arabia. They seek to recruit an qualified Accountant to join one of the offices in KSA. In this role, you would be responsible for the recording, maintaining & controlling of accounting & finance functions for their newly setup manufacturing/assembly facility. Main Roles and Responsibilities: Recording Accounting & Financial entries for a manufacturing set up Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory records, reviewing the adequacy of existing systems of inventory controls, conducting monthly cycle counts with annual comprehensive physical count and reporting discrepancies. Accounting for Fixed Assets & control. Manage all cash accounting. Regularly monitoring General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Bank books and periodic reconciliation. Maintaining reliable systems of internal control in accordance with agreed procedures and make recommendations for improved controls and procedures. Identifying major Cost Centres and establishing Standards. Analyzing and monitoring Variances to manage controllable costs. Acting as a Compliance Gate-Keeper to maintain strict compliance procedures as per US/UN/Local applicable & Company regulations. Forecasting Revenues and Expenditures based on proposed strategies, Inventory Revaluation, Setting Standards. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of Financial & Management Reports, forecasting, costing, budgeting and other financial support activities. Person Specification Must be a Graduate/Post Graduate with majors in Accounting &Finance. Minimum 2 years accounting/finance experience working in manufacturing/ assembly industry with exposure to Inventory control. Working knowledge of MS Office with proficiency in Excel. Similar Industry experience, prior experience in setup of Accounting/Finance functions in new facility. Working knowledge of accounting software- SAP/Oracle/Microsoft.
