Job Purpose

Key Accountability Areas

• Studying & Evaluating Scope of work in tender documents like SOW, Drawing, Technical Specifications, etc. • Identification of missing, blurred & contradicting information in Invitation to Bid (ITB) and preparing pre-bid clarifications • Site visit and survey to check site accessibility, availability of services etc. • Quantity Take off from Drawings and preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for required works • Preparation of Inquiry Package and ensuring all the supporting documents like item description, quantity, technical specification, drawings etc. are included. • Sending inquiries to suppliers/vendors • Providing clarification to technical & commercial queries by suppliers/vendors • Preparing inquiry status & follow-up with suppliers. • Technical & Commercial evaluation of quotations; preparing comparison sheets • Price negotiation with suppliers • Lose Material & Accessories calculation and estimation • Manpower calculation and labor cost estimation • Preparing cost summary of Scope of Work (SOW)• Preparing conditions of offer pertaining to mechanical Scope of Work (SOW)• Risk identification & Preparation of Risk Table • Preparing technical offer as per tender documents • Preparing mechanical manufacturers/suppliers list • Building and keeping good relations with suppliers / vendors • Coordination and providing input to other departments to arrange documents for submission to client like work schedule, cash flow, manpower histogram, company certificates etc. • Ensuring that Cost Estimate is ready before bid closing date (BCD) as per tender plan

Role Accountability

Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.
Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

Work Experience

4 to 6 Years

Technical / Functional Competencies

Work under pressur MS Office Time Management Troubleshooting Well Organized Communication Teamwork Initiative Creativity Analytical thinking Details Oriented
