The project: This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:

  1. Assisting the EPMO procurement of testing and commissioning scope from 3rd party service providers.
  2. Producing and agreeing on the commissioning and handover management plan.
  3. Department compliance with EPMO process and procedures.
  4. Working with LDC to ensure commissioning and operational maintenance is embedded within the LDC design.
  5. Functionally responsible for leading all members of the commissioning management team.
  6. Day-to-day management of the handover record management team.
  7. Knowledge transfer program for all Saudi resources within the testing and commissioning area under the contractual requirement of the PMC.
  8. Supporting excellence department safety with MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) safe systems of work.
  9. Day-to-day reporting to the director of commissioning and handover on all testing and commissioning details program-wide.
  10. Deputising for the director of commissioning and handover.
  11. Functionally supports senior commissioning engineers with the progress of commissioning and handover of the stadium development program.
  12. Producing of commissioning strategy.
  13. Functionally managing senior commissioning managers on all stadium projects.
  14. Assisting senior commissioning engineers with the production of commissioning plans for their specific stadium asset.
  15. Assisting the handover team with the handover plan for each specific stadium asset.
  16. Supporting the commissioning management department with the latest technical updates.
  17. Department compliance with EPMO process and procedures.

You’ll need to have:

  1. A relevant degree qualification.
  2. Chartership or pursuing a similar level of professional qualifications.
  3. Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programs for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  4. Microsoft Office tools.
  5. Negotiation skills at the executive/client level.
  6. Commercial or tender acumen.
  7. Construction and market knowledge.
  8. High value/complexity tender expertise.
