What will you be doing as a Grains Logistics Specialist?

The Logistics Specialist is the cornerstone of Bunge KSA's logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of commodities within the Kingdom. This role demands close collaboration with various departments and external partners to uphold the quality and delivery standards of our products. This will be done through the following activities:
  1. Supervise vessel transformation activities, including anchorage, berthing, discharging, and land transportation.
  2. Collaborate with supervision companies to ensure title documentation is complete and accurate.
  3. Foster strong relationships with external partners, including Port Authority, Government Labs, and service providers.
  4. Act as the primary contact for governmental bodies regarding commodity quality and quantity.
  5. Maintain control and documentation of stock throughout the logistics process.
  6. Manage daily operations and provide regular movement reports.
  7. Conduct quarterly physical inventory counts and coordinate with other Bunge KSA departments.
  8. Identify and secure optimal storage solutions to prevent demurrage issues and storage costs.
  9. Enhance discharge speed and timing in collaboration with service providers, aligning with contractual terms.
  10. Continuously seek cost-effective alternatives for logistics operations.

What do we expect from our Logistics Coordinator?

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Proven experience (4+ years) in commodity logistics, preferably dealing with bulk. If you have the following experience on your CV, we will call you first: maritime experience, monitoring vessels and discharging operations, trucking, contracts with warehouses and dealing with port processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Mid-level proficiency in English communication, candidates with fluency in Arabic will be prioritized. SAP proficiency is a plus. Residing in the region of Riyadh. Excellent customer service skills. A passion for excellence and a drive to make a difference. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
