General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

Daily inspection of site works, making sure that execution is being done according to approved shop drawings and approved materials
Review the Shop drawings, Structural drawings, reports, specifications, and materials submittals submitted by the Contractor/Subcontractor to ensure completeness, correctness, comply with the scope of work and requirements.
Carry out a constructability review.
Ensure that the Contractor/subcontractor incorporated the comments raised from previous Stages.
Attend Technical meetings with the Contractor’s Sub-Contractors and other Project Management team members.
Coordinate with the Document Controller to ensure that all documents related to construction discipline are properly controlled.
Instruct the Contractor/subcontractor to take samples as required.
Prepare lists of defects and issues and check rectification by the Contractor.
Ensure that the Contractor’s as-built drawings and other manuals are in order.
Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

At least five years of experience in a similar role.
Registration as a licensed professional engineer is required.
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
Previous experience in STAADPRO, AutoDesk REVIT Structural and AutoCAD Software is highly preferred.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
