1- Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting Job: Full Time Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Description:
To develop, manage and implement all financial reporting and accounting related matters within the bank in order to ensure alignment and compliance with external standards and internal policies and proceduresJob Responsibilities:
- Maintain, control and monitor all financial accounting related matters and assist in preparation of financial reports in accordance with IFRS to ensure that reporting is accurate and delivered within the timelines set by the regulators and external/internal stakeholders
- Assist MIS division with information to formulate budgets and forecast to the required standard in order to facilitate the delivery of the bank’s budget in an accurate and timely manner
- Review the GL to provide reasonable assurance that the debits and credits are valid, accurate and complete and give reasonable assurance that the transactions recorded in the GL are appropriate and compliant with all finance related policies and regulations
Job Requirements:
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards
- Experience with banking accounting principles and procedures
- Ability to develop and establish financial policies and procedures
- Knowledge of operating and capital budget concepts.
