Job details
- Master the different cutting methods and techniques such as fillets, steaks, open back, and skin/bone removal.
- Apply fish cutting methods and techniques to prepare products as per the customers’ requests and Fishery Section’s standard operating procedures.
- Clean fish as per the customers’ requests and Fishery Section’s standard operating procedures.
- Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of fish.
- Prepare and place fish cuts and products in display counter as per the defined guidelines.
- Identify and segregate waste and damaged products on daily basis while maintaining a record of the waste and damaged items.
- Assist in receiving the supply and perform stock counts whenever needed.
- Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhering to safe work practices.
- 2 – 3 years of experience in similar role
- Successful completion of Master L1 Program within Fishery
- Basic English language reading, writing, and interpretation skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
