Description

FMC Group is looking for an Area Sales Manager based in the UAE to expand the activities of our client Unilux, a German market leader in clad/wood windows and patented aluminium clad curtain walls. Unilux is the mother company of the UNILUX Group, constantly developing and manufacturing products that continue to set standards in terms of energy efficiency, security, comfort, and design. Around 100,000 windows and 2,000 entry doors are produced annually at one highly-automated production site in Salmtal, Germany. This is managed by over 300 experienced and qualified employees. Products are sold through a network of independent window and door dealers. The Area Sales Manager will support existing distribution, expand new distribution as well as work closely with the high-end architectural community to drive sales. The position will be based in the UAE and reporting to the Sales Director at Unilux, Germany. It is a remote position, with a possibility to use the office space in Swiss Tower.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve new business development in the region, closely working with distributors and architects
  • Ensure product knowledge and sales training of existing and new distributors
  • Perform architectural presentations
  • Schedule architectural and dealer training trips to the manufacturing facility in Germany
  • Conduct jobsite visits, provide installation consulting and troubleshooting for products
  • Act as a liaison between customer service department and distribution
  • Take part in trade shows and other marketing activities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • At least 10 years of sales experience in the UAE, preferably in a similar B2B field
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create sales forecast and execute sales plan
  • Ability to read architectural plans
  • University degree, strong building science background is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must, Arabic is a plus
  • Conversant with MS Office applications and quoting software
  • AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
  • Willingness to travel (50-65% travel required) and valid driving license
