Operations Engineer

The job posting is outdated and position may be filled Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned projects. Lead and participate in operations, outages, and safety meetings. Responsible for supporting internal applications and systems. Assist in the installation, racking, and cabling of equipment. Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications. Assemble large equipment to include carts, racks, cabinets, chairs, shelving, hoods, etc. Assist with necessary changes to telephone system hardware and cabling. Ticket creation, adherence to customer sign-in and authentication procedures. Support various operations status, engineering review and problem boards. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. Prepare presentations for submission to customers and internal management. Assist in designing and maintain, hosting, process, transform, and analyze operational processes. Install and maintain a wide variety of mechanical equipment within the scope of the plant operations area. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work. Take appropriate actions on system alerts based on standard operating procedure. Perform data entry into the inventory system for all goods received. Consult with project teams to develop a solution design which is compliant with the architecture and standards of the company. Provide required updates to stakeholders involved in case of critical incidents like outages 24/7 operational environment Prepare Incident reports for all the business critical incidents and unscheduled server downtime Participate in on-call duties in rotation Write and maintain scalable, testable, versioned, and documented code for multiple games on multiple mobile platforms with an eye toward sharing between products Design new scalable and testable services and client components for consumption by game teams Write, test, and maintain build and deployment scripts Perform code reviews and be willing to pair regularly Build maintainable software that will be used for years Application Maintenance, Change-/Release/-Incident/Problem-/Patch Management Qualifications: Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in information technology, engineering, computer science or computer engineering, or associates Degree and equivalent experience. Experience with Linux, Python, Autosys, and UNIX software and systems. Experience with cloud software and systems. Demonstrated strength in computing and problem solving and sound attention to detail. Strives for continuous improvement. A leader with a focus on incident response. Familiar with frameworks and command line processes. Comfortable interfacing with other team members and clients.
