The job posting is outdated and position may be filled Our client, a large and well-known organization, is urgently looking for a Pricing and Tender Manager who will primarily responsible in the delivery and execution of the business plan towards integration of our customer s supply chains. Furthermore, this role will enable competitive value enhancing products for their customers. You will be tasked to manage the procurement & pricing team developing a trade lane product portfolio which can cater to their business plan. Other responsibilities will include:
- Develop & implement the procurement & pricing strategy for the company across all trade lanes including inter modal.
- Contribute to the development of commercial logistics and product strategy.
- Lead and execute sourcing projects for all freight businesses activities including cross border trucking.
- Completion of rate requests including local tenders.
- Preparation and execution of major/global tenders and ensure alignment with relevant internal stakeholders and partners.
- Establish & maintain contact with key suppliers to acquire information on service offerings, understand their market approach and enable a better and closer working relationship.
- Actively monitor supplier landscape in UAE and build up new suppliers to enable them to meet the organizations standards and requirements in future, to ensure reliable supply at competitive prices and to manage markets risks
- Ensure contracts are in place with suppliers.
- Coordination with Forwarding Operations manager to ensure service delivery levels to customers.
- With master or bachelor degree in business administration
- With 7 - 10 years of experience in logistics, forwarding across procurement, pricing and trade land management.
- Experience of 5+ years in the UAE is preferred.
- Ideal candidate should have an established network with the carriers(air, sea, road).
- Masters/Bachelors in business and/or logistics.
- Excellent spoken and written English. Ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and partners. Proven ability to build relations.
