- Conduct thorough cost estimations for steel structure construction projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Monitor project costs throughout its lifecycle, track expenditures, and prepare regular cost reports to ensure adherence to budget.
- Identify and assess commercial risks associated with construction projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Accurately measure and quantify materials required for steel structure projects.
- Analyze and review construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, and change orders to ensure accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement cost control measures to manage project expenses effectively.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with the project team to explore value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures.
- Utilize your experience in the UAE construction industry to navigate local regulations and market dynamics effectively.
- Generate comprehensive reports on project cost performance, budget variances, and financial forecasts.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in steel structure construction projects.
- Proficiency in quantity takeoff software and MS Excel.
- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and practices.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Pakistani/Indian/Sri Lanka nationals will be given first preference.
