Posted 5 days agoSubcontractor focused on RC frame buildings projectsOur Client, a successful concrete Contractor seeking an experienced and business-minded Project Manager to focus on various medium - large RC frame mixed use project in Vancouver.The Project Manager is an integral member of the project team. Responsible for delivering construction projects of varying size and complexity. Focusing on structural works including formwork, concrete foundations and suspended slabs, rebar and architectural structures etc.Duties & Responsibilities:Capable and can bring some of their own experience and ideasPour tracking, how much concrete has been poured on a day to day basis and calculating the contact m2Setting out and preparing project locates as requiredCreating and maintaining RFI'sCreating and maintaining PO numbersTracing deliveries and returnsEnsuring team meetings are lead and conducted weekly/dailyCreate, maintain, and deliver all project documents and filesEffectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project teamEnsure clients' needs are met in a timely and cost-effective mannerCommunicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.Qualifications:At least 3-4 years of experience in delivery of projects, at least 1 year of local Canada experienceConcrete forming/placement experience requiredProficient in MS Office Suite of productsFamiliarity with construction methods and the building codesEffective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skillsProven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environmentDemonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing prioritiesStrong multi-tasking and organizational skillsAdditional specialty training for tools, equipment, instruments, and safety.Lead and direct tasks in a timely and professional manner.Clearly understand the job description and perform their responsibilities adequately.RegistrationPlease ensure you register your details with Outpost Recruitment when submitting your job application.
