We're a team of dedicated people driving this mission by providing better, faster, and cheaper ways to access food through technology.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Buttercream Cake Artist that specializes on vintage piping and buttercream drawings according to customers' specifications and preferences & providing suitable recommendations on cake decorations and designs, and packaging bakery items, managing inventory, ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.Main ResponsibilitiesCreating and testing new cake recipes to meet customer demandsDesigning and decorating cakes according to customer specificationsManaging inventory of ingredients and suppliesEnsuring cleanliness and proper sanitation of the baking areaMaintaining high standards of quality and presentationCreative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other dessertsOrder supplies to stock inventory appropriatelyComply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkersCheck the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cookingCreate new dessert recipes, and test new flavorsCreating and developing 3D Designs and must have experience in 3D printingIdeal CandidateQualificationsMust have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a bakery chef within the hospitality and catering industryExperience creating customized cakes for customersProven experience as a pastry chef or bakerCreativity and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge and competencySolid understanding of pastry and baking tools, and equipmentKnowledge of ingredients and their propertiesExceptional proven ability in kitchen managementAbility to divide responsibilities and monitor progressOutstanding communication and leadership skillsUp-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processesExcellent pastry and cake decorating skillsArtistic and creativePersonalityStrong communicatorCustomer service mindsetPleasant personality and ability to lead with empathy and patience.
