SPA & GUEST LIAISON OFFICER (Back-up therapist)Hoedspruit - Limpopo (South Africa)START: June 2024 (pre-opening & induction)TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:Monday - Sunday 08:00 - 20:00* (*subject to change based on operational needs)45 hours worked per weekShifts will apply + days off each weekHospitality environment - trading all public holidays REMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS:R10,000 per month Gross10% Services Commission earned after working back 50% of Basic Salary10% Retail Commission earnedStaff meal on dutyMedical aid contribution (Discovery / single application status only)Provident Fund contributionMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Reception experience working in either a Hotel, Hotel Spa, Day Spa or a busy SalonAbility to pleasantly and confidently communicate in English with attention to detail in communication (verbal & electronic)Afrikaans language - bonusSpa software experience is required (ESP / Chidesk / My Appointment / Fresha etc.)QUALIFICATIONS:Diploma obtained from a recognized Training facility with qualifications in either Spa / Beauty / Cosmetology / Holistic Massage / Nail TechnologyCity & Guilds / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / SAAHSP etc.BONUS - Secretarial or Administrative qualification EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:At least TWO years spa industry experience post-graduation (not student hours)Cruise ship employment experience highly beneficialAbility to give timely and excellent services at all time Ability to correctly capture information, payments or any other administrative duties assigned to you Knowledge of spa procedures and trendsAbility to focus attention on guest needsAbility to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the SpaAbility to perform job functions with minimal supervisionKnowledge of and ability to sell spa products
