Job details
Our client in the e-learning space is looking to add a Director, Product to their team. This is an exciting, fully remote opportunity to work with a highly collaborative team.
Responsibilities :
Lead the product design team initiatives, overseeing end-to-end design processes including user research, competitive analysis, conceptual planning, design, prototyping, and wireframing.
Collaborate with software developers, QA specialists, and project managers/owners to assess the viability and feasibility of product designs.
Negotiate compromises or alternatives with project managers and developers to ensure alignment with project goals and constraints.
Iterate on products based on feedback and analytics from actual usage by clients, and cross-functional departments to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain consistency and robustness of the design system to ensure a cohesive user experience across new and legacy products.
Conduct design reviews, workshops, and one-on-ones with direct reports to provide guidance and feedback.
Mentor and develop designers, fostering their growth and skills development.
Partner with Human Resources to recruit and onboard top talent, contributing to team growth and success.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute the product roadmap and plan for future quarters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate on the Moodle and Expression Engine platforms to integrate and enhance features that align with the platform's objectives and user needs.
Must-Have Requirements:
Demonstrated track record of delivering new and innovative solutions to enhance product lines and drive business success.
Strong intuition for product interaction design and UI/UX, with a focus on creating engaging and user-friendly experiences.
Proficiency in collaborating with designers to create graphic wireframes and interface designs, facilitating seamless handoff to UI teams.
Experience participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle, with a solid understanding of Agile software methodologies and practices.
Proven proficiency in leveraging Moodle LMS to augment product offerings and bolster business achievements
