Full job description

• Coordinating with the General Manager & Managing Director from HQ and work in conjunction with other departments in ensuring a smooth operational flow of work
• Assisting the management in development of plans for future growth of the company
• Problem solving of discrepancies arising from branch and customers
• Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations in Melaka branch
• Implementing warehouse and operational policies and procedures as well as security operations
• Key client account servicing and coordination by managing the client relationship through regular feedbacks and periodic operations review with clients to optimize quality of service business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze performances of drivers’ and storekeepers’ performance at an acceptable level as established by the company.
• Ensure proper procedures to minimise pilferages, losses and or damages.
• Maintaining physical condition of warehouse and ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
• Managing staff scheduling and assignments and following up on work results
• Maintains operation staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
• Verification of operational procedures, review and recommend to management solutions on weaknesses so identified
• Ensure all required documentation being done in accordance with company existing system and procedures.

• Min 8 years working experience and min 5 years managerial experience
• Familiar with road names, areas, states.
