Job Title: Network Security Specialist - Contract, Remote Ergo are seeking a Network Security Specialist for a contract role with a well-known client in Dublin. The Network Security Specialist will be responsible for implementing secure and resilient network solutions taking an "automation first" approach and effectively managing stakeholders. This is an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend. We are happy to consider full-time remote work. What will you do?

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the network and network security
• Network configuration to enable the integration of new services and progressive simplification
• Deliver the effective design, implementation and maintenance of the in-scope technologies
• Develop and implement secure and resilient solution design
• Drive the automation first strategy eliminating repetitive tasks
• Enable the development of secure cloud connectivity and integration solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with the relevant 3 rd parties that support this function
• Proactively seek to minimize audit findings by implementing effective and permanent solutions
• Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively

What do you need?

• Detailed knowledge and experience in the implementation of resilient network and network security solutions
• Hands-on experience implementing micro-segmentation and Zero-trust technologies
• In-depth knowledge of software-defined networking and experience deploying those technologies
• Strong understanding of Identity Access Management and integration with network segmentation
• In depth understanding and awareness of the regulatory landscape and the associated network and cybersecurity requirements

The following is desirable:

• Experience in automation technologies and their implementation service and solution delivery
• In depth knowledge of secure and scalable cloud connectivity
• Hands-on experience in digital service end-point definition within Web Access Firewall, load balancers, and secure web gateways
• Knowledge and understanding of private cloud and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure design
