We are currently looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. Together with your fellow colleagues, you will be responsible for buying the right products and services, at the right time, in the right quantity and quality in order to not disrupt our production while minimizing our value on stock. You will get to know a lot of colleagues and create a strong network both inside and outside the company. Finally, we are in the process of redesigning our procurement processes and we expect you to be an active part of this continuous amelioration project. Team responsibilities and ambitions As a Procurement Specialist, you will be an integral part of our dynamic procurement team within the Supply Chain department. Our team handles the procurement of a diverse range of items, from GMP-regulated goods crucial to our final product to everyday office supplies like pens and papers. We foster a collaborative environment where every team member is considered equal in terms of responsibilities, acknowledging and leveraging individual strengths. We are service-minded, detail-oriented while also able to enjoy a good laugh, several times a day! We are facing exciting challenges like redesigning and/or improving internal processes, facilitating the migration to an updated ERP, aiming for more sustainability among many others. The Procurement team is composed of four dedicated individuals, including three purchasers and one assistant. Our team plays a pivotal role in the larger context of our organization's Supply Chain department. We operate under the leadership of the Supply Chain Manager, who oversees not only procurement but also manages responsibilities related to planning, warehouse operations, serialization, and other support roles. Your work tasks This position will mostly consist of routine tasks. You can expect 80% of your schedule to be repetitive work, such as:
- Order management (placing them, following up).
- Create and maintain (master)data in the ERP system.
- Invoice management, with the support of the finance team.
- Claim management, with the support of our quality department.
- Highly service-minded, always thinking on how you can best support people reaching out for your help. Patiently solving issues, always with a smile.
- Structured in your personal work, both autonomous but also eager to spare with colleagues.
- Computer-savvy and data enthusiast.
- Able to embrace change (we are improving a lot of internal process and changing our ERP system in the coming months).
- Keen on growing and fostering relationships both within and outside the company.
- 3 years of experience in a purchasing function.
- Danish and English – professional level – oral & written.
- ERP knowledge – we use SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite (mostly Outlook & Excel).
- Experience in working in a GMP environment.
- Experience in negotiations.
- Skills in Power BI (or another BI software).
