The Collaboration team is responsible for delivering a variety of collaboration experiences at HubSpot: employee wiki, conferencing, asynchronous collaboration, hybrid collaboration spaces and experiences, workspace management, visual collaboration and digital signage. The challenge: HubSpot has made the strategic decision to embrace hybrid working. We are in need of a Collaboration Engineer with a product mindset who can drive delivery of hybrid work experiences that enable frictionless hardware and software hybrid meeting experiences, visual collaboration, digital signage, workspace management, and other asynchrous collaboration solutions. This individual will work with a team and various stakeholder groups to understand business needs and deliver technical solutions that delight employees. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely team and stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements
  • Identify new and existing technology solutions in line with our broader technology strategy
  • Effectively communicate technical solutions, requirements, and project progress to stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Involved in end-to-end in technology solution projects, requirements, technology configuration, vendor relationship management, and operational support
  • Collaborate with an agile team to define and prioritize technical work to deliver value quickly and iteratively for our customers
  • Collaborate with Security, Privacy, Legal, Networking, and other stakeholders to assess business requirements and propose system solutions.
  • Implement process improvements and automation leading to a better employee experience
  • Work across functional teams to ensure interoperability across systems
Qualifications:
  • Engineering experience across a portfolio of technologies
  • Clear communicator with a demonstrated product mindset and customer focus 
  • Ability to identify business needs, analyze and define technical solutions
  • Conducted technical feasibility analysis across a variety of vendor landscapes, have managed vendor relationships and understand industry trends
  • Worked as part of a team to deliver enterprise SaaS solutions to internal teams
  • Ability to work across various collaboration systems, ensuring connectivity and interoperability
  • Experience with delivering new features and functionality as part of a product backlog and and broader roadmap
  • Are data driven, gathering KPIs and metrics to measure the value that different technologies are driving for HubSpot
