Job Description: • Thorough understanding of regulations including the Banking Act, Securities and Futures Act, and Financial Advisers Act. • Proficient grasp of regulatory principles such as anti-money laundering, counter financing of terrorism, and market conduct, among others. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities essential for collaborative engagement with team members and engagement managers during regulatory reviews. • Robust analytical acumen with meticulous attention to detail. • Capable of performing effectively under high-pressure situations and stringent deadlines. Job Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 6 years of experience in regulatory compliance or relevant roles, preferably in financial institutions or related professional firms at a senior associate level or with relevant experience in Big 4 external auditor with financial services background • Demonstrated proactive approach in conducting analysis and research to understand regulations thoroughly. • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities. • Previous experience in regulatory compliance functions, particularly in banks or capital market services licensees, or related professional firms, along with a solid understanding of banking operations and products/services, will be advantageous.
