SVP, Compliance Governance and Strategy & COO

Role Summary: The SVP, Compliance Governance and Strategy & COO is responsible for (a) developing and implementing the Bank's compliance governance framework and strategy, and (b) carrying out the COO function for LCS. The role will work closely with the COO and other senior leaders to ensure that the Bank meets all regulatory requirements and operates in a compliant manner. Responsibilities:

• COO functions for LCS
• Develop and implement the Bank's compliance governance framework, including policies, procedures, and controls
• Monitor the Bank's compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential compliance risks
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate compliance risks
• Provide advice and guidance to the COO and other senior leaders on compliance matters
• Represent the Bank in discussions with regulators and other stakeholders on compliance matters
• Stay up-to-date on the latest compliance trends and developments

• 5-8 years of COO, central co-ordination or project management experience
• 12 - 15 years of work experience in the financial services industry, at least 5 years with Audit or with Compliance assurance function.
• Strong knowledge of regulations.
• Team-oriented and a positive change agent who seeks to challenge the norm and articulate fresh perspectives in a respectful, constructive manner.
• A self-starter who is able to work independently and able to solution.
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage multiple assignments simultaneously and deliver on commitments.
• Strong interpersonal skills to negotiate with or influence stakeholders.
• Growth mindset with curiosity and willingness to pick up new fields and skills.
• Proven managerial skills.
