Onshore Rope Access Level 2 Technician Position Summary: Vertical Logic is actively recruiting experienced individuals for the position of Onshore Rope Access Level 2 Technician. This role requires advanced rope access skills and the ability to work independently on a variety of technical tasks in onshore environments. Preference will be given to applicants with specific skills and certifications relevant to onshore operations.Duties and Responsibilities: Independently perform rope access tasks and oversee Level 1 technicians onshore.Rigging and equipment setup for onshore rope access operations, ensuring strict compliance with safety standards.Conduct pre-use checks and maintenance of rope access equipment in onshore environments.Interpret and implement rope access procedures, method statements, and risk assessments onshore.Lead rescue operations and provide guidance to team members onshore, ensuring rapid and secure responses.Proficiently operate machinery and equipment onshore, showcasing technical proficiency.Ensure meticulous compliance with safety standards and practices throughout onshore operations.Effectively communicate with team members, clients, and project stakeholders onshore.Mentor junior technicians and deliver training sessions as required for onshore projects.Uphold professionalism, leadership, and a dedication to safety while working onshore.Preferred Skills and Certifications:Proficiency in advanced rope access techniques and relevant onshore-specific skills.Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of effectively managing teams onshore.Thorough understanding of safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response procedures onshore.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders onshore.Preferred Skills and Certifications: Experience or familiarity with any of the following:PaintingPlasteringWindow installationWaterproofingLoad testingRoof repairWelding (various types)WoodworkRigging principles and techniquesPrevious experience as a Rope Access Level 2 Technician in onshore environments.Advanced rope access skills and techniques.Strong leadership abilities and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in onshore projects.Commitment to safety and quality standards in onshore operations.Required Documents / Qualifications: Valid Work Permit (if applicable).Medical Clearance Certificate.Rope Access Level 2 Certification.Logbook
