My client, a top-performing $1B USD long-short equity hedge fund is seeking an Investor Relations Senior Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record in fund-raising from institutional clients or private clients. Additionally, experience with global client coverage is highly valued. Job Responsibilities:

  • Fund-raising: Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to raise capital from existing and prospective investors.
  • Relationship Management: Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors.
  • Communication: Assist in creating investor presentations, marketing materials, and other relevant communications.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule and organize meetings, conference calls, and events involving investors.
  • Inquiries and Information Requests: Handle investor inquiries promptly and provide necessary information.
  • CRM Maintenance: Maintain a comprehensive CRM database to track investor interactions and communication.
  • Market Research: Conduct research and analysis on market trends and investor preferences.
  • Event Organization: Assist in planning and executing investor conferences and events.
  • Due Diligence: Participate in the due diligence process for potential investors.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in Investor Relations, Fund Sales, or Fund Business Development from other financial firms.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in investor relations or a similar role within the financial industry is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Detail-oriented and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with hedge funds and financial markets.
    • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for Junior Associate/Assistant roles.
