We are looking for a skilled, motivated, and innovative people to join our 2024 EMERGE Summer Internship Program. Interns will receive valuable training and mentoring to support their professional growth, develop marketable skills, and learn about Teladoc Health’s business and the healthcare industry. This is a paid opportunity, in which interns will be assigned projects and tasks relevant to Teladoc Health’s current business needs.

Position Summary

The Clinical Operations Intern is responsible for working closely with the Operations team in assisting with the day-to-day tasks of Teladoc Health’s vER and PHC programs. The Summer Intern is required to process work with accuracy and efficiency and in compliance with PHIPA and PIPEDA.

Role and Responsibilities

Creation of databases of various provincial resources (specialists, facilities, pharmacies, etc.) (25%)

Maintain and build out SharePoint sites (25%)

Assist with coordination of process or policy updates (25%)

Other duties as required (25%)

The time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change depending on business needs.

Skill Requirements/Preferences

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program and returning to school in September 2024

Currently residing in Canada

Strong writing and technical editing skills

Commitment to deadlines with a strong sense of urgency

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Sense of initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Detail-oriented

Superior organizational and time management skills, and ability to effectively multi-task

Team player

Patient focused

Highly proficient in using technology such as computers, phones and various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Active enrollment in a University level program

1+ years of technology and/or healthcare experience preferred

Experience in a professional office environment preferred

The above qualifications, knowledge, experience, and/or background are expected but not required for this role.
