  • Operate drones safely and efficiently to execute agricultural tasks according to predetermined flight plans.
  • Monitor drone performance and ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety regulations.
  • Conduct aerial surveys to assess crop health, identify pest or disease infestations, and monitor growth patterns.
  • Capture high-resolution images and videos for analysis and decision-making purposes.
  • Perform precision spraying of pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers to target specific areas of the crop field.
  • Ensure accurate application rates and coverage while minimizing environmental impact.
  • Collect and process aerial data using specialized software tools to generate actionable insights for farmers.
  • Collaborate with agronomists and agricultural experts to interpret data and recommend optimal farming practices.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on drones and associated equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Needs to possess qualified RPTO drone pilot certificate.
  • Experience: Prior experience operating drones in an agricultural environment is essential.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in operating drones and remote control systems.
  • Understanding of agricultural practices and crop management techniques.
  • Ability to interpret aerial imagery and data for agricultural analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
