The role carries the responsibility of mobilization, pre and post inspection, coordination, repair and supervision of all related rental and workshop activities including responsive support to both internal/external enquiries within the compliance and related QHSE guideline of KONGSBERG. This role entails liaise between main office and customers from Asia Pacific, Oceania, and other part of the world on all aspects of rental / Demo of Kongsberg’s product range. Lead meaningful projects. Protechting People and Planet is our goal. Responsibilities
- Focus on customer support, Inhouse testing/repair and technical preparation on assigned Kongsberg Ocean Technologies and Seatex product range
- Technical manning on desk / mobile device for remote support as require by Kongsberg
- Responsible for rental inventory and repair according to procedures including equipment control, maintenance, preparation, and disposal routines
- Responsible for data quality in relevant ERP systems including sub applications (i.e., InspHire)
- Responsible for generation of service reports, update drawings, cable information database and others
- Liaison between customers and main office on all aspects of In-house testing, performance validation, trouble-shoot and repair on KM offshore product.
- Maintain good relationship with existing clients
- Proper preparation and execution of work assigned inclusive of pre and post works administrative, ensuring performance are always met.
- Position will cover Asia Pacific, Oceania, and possibly other part of the world
- Any other adhoc duties assigned.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
- At least 1-year relevant experience in customer service
- At least 1 year of direct technical hands-on experience on Single/Multi beam system both in software and hardware
- At least 3 years of direct technical hands-on experience on underwater acoustics system
- Functional test and verification including signal tracing, use of lab equipment such as oscilloscope, frequency counter,impedance meter etc (preferred).
