We are looking for an EHS Engineer who will be responsible for managing and leading the improvement of EHS performance and safety culture in manufacturing operation environment. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: · Leads EHS committee in accordance with the established Committee Charter, Roles & Responsibilities, and serve as adviser to management on EHS matters. · Drives EHS improvement program to bring safety culture to next level of safety in teamwork. · Manages monthly plant ES&H metric reporting, safety inspections, safety observation, improvement projects and safety meetings. · Plans and organizes safety trainings and safety awareness programs. · Acts as communication liaison between AP Safety organization and the manufacturing operation. · Organizes and conducts regular safety audits to ensure compliance with EHS procedures, rules & regulations. · Maintains risk management plan, provides or reviews suggestions and recommendations for an effective resolution of EHS hazards. · Manages EHS framework documents and procedures to provide safe work practices in compliance with Singapore WSH regulations and ISO standards of EHS (ISO 14001 and 45001). · Tracks and monitors EHS corrective action items via Velocity EHS. · Plans, manages and drives energy conservation and green programs to meet the objectives of environmental sustainability. Who You Are: You quickly and decisively take action in fast-paced, unpredictable situations. Being open and positive-minded, you are able to digest different ideas and feedback, and take constructive action to navigate difficulties or obstacles. You are a collaborative leader, able to work with various parties to achieve the common goals. For This Role, You Will Need: · Degree / Master in any Engineering with minimum 5 years of working experience in EHS fields. Prior work experience in manufacturing automation environment is an advantage. · Certification e.g. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health is required. · Possess Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) Lead Auditor certificate. · Solid understanding of Singapore's safety, health, and environmental regulations and occupational health and safety principles. · Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing risk management plans. · Familiar with ISO 14001 and 45001 requirement is beneficial. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: · Sound knowledge of structured problem-solving skills. · Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
