Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit https://careers.accor.com/Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo! #BELIMITLESSJob DescriptionTailorAs a Tailor, you will ensure to mend, repair, and alter guest clothing and employee uniforms by hand stitching, applying adhesive patches, or using a sewing machine.What Is In It For You:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwideLearning programs through our Academies and the opportunity to earn qualifications while you workOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the worldAbility to make a difference in the local community through our Corporate Social Responsibility activitiesWhat You Will Be Doing:Perform timely repairs on all items of uniform, linen, and upholstery.Stitch new uniforms, and items of linen and upholstery as per hotel specifications.Ensure that all linen and uniforms are repaired before issuing them to staff.Measure, make, or alter uniforms for new employeesTake care of basic alterations requested by guests.Repair and maintain uniforms for all hotel employees.Convert discarded linen into usable items for re-circulation.Organize and take inventory of all fabric materials.To liaise with Uniform making companies regarding measurement taking, sizes, stitching details etc…Keep the tailoring area clean and tidy.QualificationsYour experience and skills include:Profession tailoring skill is essentialPrevious experience in a similar role is an assetStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for serviceAdditional InformationWhat Is In It For You:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwide.Learning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!
