Job Title: Electrical & Scheduling Engineer

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Electrical Maintenance & Inspection – Good hand on experience in Electrical Inspection / Maintenance of Grid Station, Diesel Generators, LT / HT Switchgears, Electrical Motors, Starters, Transformers, Design of Electrical System, Electricity Rules & Regulations, Solar Generation, Operation & Maintenance, Short Circuit Study, Electrical Protection System, IMS/ GMP requirements etc.
  2. Scheduling Activities – The incumbent will be responsible for effective & timely scheduling of overall Engineering & Services department’s tasks to assure compliance of all PM & condition-based schedules through SAP, creation & implementation of PM / CM schedules and to introduce smart maintenance techniques / tool for the optimize utilization of resources.
  3. Project Execution Activities – Responsible to share new quality ideas, preparation of their feasibility reports, follow up for procurement of material and ensure safe execution of capex / MOC projects in stipulated time.
  4. EHS Responsibilities – Will be responsible for implementation of EHS standards, carrying out risk assessments & ensure a safe working environment for subordinates.
  5. Cost Reduction Initiatives – Identify all cost reduction opportunities in the area of responsibility and electrical section to ensure efficient operation. Recommend new equipment, methods and procedures that could considerably reduce labor expenses.
  6. People Development – Communicate and build relationships with stakeholders, through a team-based approach, to ensure business needs are met with high quality in a timely and cost-efficient manner. To develop a work environment with Engineering & Services department’s staff that encourages self-motivation and commitment to their jobs. Develop all working staff awareness related to best electrical practices. Supervision & guidance for technical direction regarding scheduling & maintenance activities.
  7. Compliance of Company Policies – Will be responsible for the compliance of electrical-related legal requirements of the company.

Qualified candidates will have:

Mandatory requirements:
  • Degree of BS/BE Electrical / Mechatronics
  • 4-6 Years hands-on experience in operation & maintenance of electrical installations preferable in Petro-Chemical / Fertilizer / Process/ Food Industry
  • English fluency, both written and spoken
Desirable requirements:
  • SAP Maintenance Module, MS Office, AutoCAD & Instrumentation experience is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of Operation & Maintenance of Grid Station, Diesel Generators, LT / HT Switchgears, Electrical Motors, Starters, Transformers, Design of Electrical System, Solar Generation, Operation & Maintenance, Short Circuit Analysis, Electrical Protection System, Electricity Rules & Regulations etc. is desirable.
