About the Role As a Senior Android mobile engineer, you will further develop your computer science and programming skills alongside a knowledgeable, collaborative, and fun group of engineers. You will participate in and help drive the development cycle by having the responsibility of driving modules in feature development. From active participation with partners to scoping and effort estimation to writing well tested code, you will take ownership of the work you're doing. You will also identify and fix bugs, adding tests to ensure we never fix the same bug twice. As a valued team member, you will bring ideas forward to refine processes. Responsibilities

• Apply your computer science knowledge and programming skills while collaborating with a fun group of engineers
• Help drive the development cycle by having the responsibility of driving features from the early stages all the way to production
• Take ownership of the work you're doing, from active participation with partners, to prioritization and effort estimation, to writing well-tested code
• Bring others along with you, as you communicate decisions and challenges, mentor junior developers, and consistently help us hit the next bar of excellence
• Help us see trends in maintenance issues, proposing wider-scope solutions to ensure we fix problematic spaces once and for all
• As a valued team member, you will bring ideas forward to refine processes

About You Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years developing for Android in Kotlin
• Experience delivering production quality apps
• Experience in working with agile methodology
• Experience in mobile design and architectural patterns
• Experience leading feature delivery
• Computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design

Other Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Kotlin, Java or Compose
• Mentorship of other engineers
• Passion for design, UI, and UX
• Test driven development skills
• Android or mobile web experience
