Rope Access Level 3 Technician (Offshore)

Level 3 OffshoreVertical Logic, a leading local services contractor, is seeking proficient individuals for the position of Rope Access Level 3 Technician with project management experience for offshore operations. This role requires advanced rope access skills, project oversight, and the ability to lead teams effectively in offshore environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive offshore experience and project management expertise.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and manage rope access projects in offshore settings, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocolsOversee rigging operations, equipment setup, and technical tasks associated with rope access projectsConduct pre-project planning, risk assessments, and method statement development for offshore operationsCoordinate with clients, project stakeholders, and safety representatives to ensure project objectives are met and safety standards are maintainedSupervise rope access teams, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to techniciansPerform advanced rope access tasks independently and assist in complex rescue operations as neededMonitor project progress, budget allocation, and resource utilization, and report updates to managementEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies in all aspects of project executionDemonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, identifying and addressing project challenges effectivelyUphold professionalism, customer-centric focus, and commitment to quality standards in all project activitiesPreferred Skills and Competencies:Extensive experience in rope access techniques, with advanced proficiency as a Level 3 technicianStrong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgetingExcellent leadership abilities, with a proven track record of successfully managing teams in offshore environmentsComprehensive understanding of safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response proceduresEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholdersProject-specific technical skills such as welding, rigging, NDT, confined space, standby rescue, and other relevant disciplinesOffshore certifications and clearances including UKOG Medical Clearance, OPITO Offshore Survival Certification, Seaman's Book, Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate, COVID-19 Certification, and TB Test ClearanceBasic Qualifications:Previous experience as a Rope Access Level 3 Technician with demonstrated project management experience in offshore environmentsProficiency in advanced rope access techniques and certification as a Level 3 technicianAbility to lead teams, manage projects, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsCommitment to safety, professionalism, and excellence in project deliveryRequired Documents / Qualifications:Valid Work Permit (if applicable)Medical Clearance CertificateRope Access Level 3 CertificationOffshore certifications and clearances as mentioned above
