About the Opportunity In this customer focussed role you will be providing customer service and operational support, both on site and remotely using UPark’s car park management system. You will also be providing service on site to tenants and customers of Adelaide Central Bus Station. You will ensure the effective coordination and delivery of services is in accordance with Commercial Parking priorities and Program Plan objectives. Some of the things you will be doing include:
  • Monitoring Building Security: (CCR)
    • Responding to intercom calls from tenants and visitors.
    • Utilising the CCTV system to monitor traffic flow, identify potential security risks, and ensure smooth building operations.
  • Car Park Management: (CSA)
    • Regularly checking the car park system for any damage to facilities or vehicles.
    • Reporting any detected damage to the Central Support Attendant (CSA) for further action.
    • If authorised, escalating any issues requiring on-site presence to the CSA.
  • Cross-Site Inspections (When acting as CSA):
    • When designated as the CSA, operate the corporate vehicle to conduct business inspections across different company sites.
  • Reporting any situation deviating from normal operations to the operations supervisor to ensure timely resolution and maintain operational efficiency.
Our UPark car parks are open 7 days a week and require support from 6am to as late as 1am at times, dependent on events and seasonal variations.Shifts will vary across these hours. About You To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to effectively liaise and engage with customers and other members of the public.
  • Knowledge of general office systems and procedures.
  • Understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, Car Park Operating Systems.
  • Previous experience in or ability to quickly understand monitoring CCTV activity .
  • Previous experience in a cashiering or customer service environment.
  • A sound understanding of the operation of computerised cashiering equipment is desirable.
  • Prior experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
