The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for creating exceptional websites, leveraging their expertise in backend development and MySQL optimization to ensure seamless performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and custom themes, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to create and implement website features and functionalities.
• Optimize website performance through backend improvements, including MySQL database optimization, caching strategies, and server configurations.
• Develop and integrate custom plugins and APIs to extend the functionality of WordPress websites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and compatibility problems.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into projects as appropriate.
• Provide technical support to clients and team members, addressing any development-related issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Excellent backend development skills, with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
• In-depth experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and query performance tuning.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of web performance best practices, including caching, CDNs, and server optimization.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services.
• Experience with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility guidelines.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as WooCommerce.
