NES Fircroft are currently recruiting for a CSR Charity Fund Specialist for our client, who are a major player in renewable energy development across the globe. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Charity Fund Specialist Job Type: Contract Duration: 18 months Start date: Estimated May Location: Dublin 2 – Hybrid working Position Description Stepping forward on social responsibility is part of the Sustainability foundational pillar of our “Driven to Make a Difference: Net Zero by 2040” strategy. This means ensuring that we have a positive impact on all the people that it engages with – employees, suppliers, customers, and the communities we serve. We support communities in many ways including through CSR initiatives. A key element of our CSR strategy is offering opportunities for employees to volunteer their time and skills. The key components of our CSR activity are Energy for Generations Fund (EFG), ElectricAid (EA) and Volunteering activities and employee support. Key Responsibilities The CSR Charity Fund Specialist project role will work as part of a small CSR team responsible for managing CSR strategy, funds, and volunteering activities. The role requires fund management, CSR experience, digital skills, communications, and stakeholder engagement. This CSR Project role is required to support the CSR team through a period of change. In particular:
- To lead and support the digitalization of fund management for both EA and EFG funds, working with IT and
- To support on improvements in data analytics, producing reports on CSR activities including EA and EFG
- To implement recommendations from an ongoing advisory review by GIA to strengthen processes and
- To support the management and administration of the funds including relationships with stakeholder
- Stakeholder management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A digital mindset, to enable the adoption and optimisation of technology to support CSR funds.
- Ability to work with and interpret data.
- Attention to Detail and strong governance capability.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with a proven record of delivery of results.
- Process improvement and internal control/governance experience, preferably related to CSR/charity funds.
- Understanding financial accounts.
- Experience working for NGO/CSR.
