As a Reverse Logistics Business Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage and optimize the reverse logistics process. You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and managing key client accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. Responsibilities: Identify New Business Opportunities and Expand Client Base: Possess a "hunter's" mentality and take responsibility for sourcing leads, identifying and securing customers, selling recycling services to new clients, and negotiating and closing contracts related to obtaining clients' E-Waste (surplus, recyclables, returned goods, end-of-life cycle, overstock, and additional E-Waste assets). Develop long-term partnerships with relevant clients/stakeholders such as Inventory Managers, Facility Managers, Environmental Health & Services, Sustainability Managers, Risk Managers, IT Managers, Operations Managers, etc. Prospect and engage with Large and Enterprise-scale telecoms, ISPs, IT organizations, and other organizations selling/disposing of or possessing surplus Telecommunications & IT assets, hardware, components, and more. Manage Key Client Accounts and Maintain Relationships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive continuous improvement to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the reverse logistics process. Communicate with each department to verify discrepancies and expedite transportation of material. Business Development and Strategy: Work with senior management and other departments to develop goals, reports, and strategies for expanding business. Participate in online bidding/auctions and adhere to all R2/RIOS guidelines. Utilize established pricing procedures and prepare and present cost estimates and quotations to potential customers. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends and Best Practices: Keep current on industry-wide pricing trends, technological advancements, and best practices. Your Day to Day tasks: Identify potential stakeholders and decision-makers in target organizations. Conduct cold and warm calls (around 100 calls) and daily emails to engage with stakeholders and acquire surplus network equipment. Utilize Monday.com to follow the quoting process with the RPO Manager and the VP. Interface with the supply chain team to obtain shipping costs for equipment. Navigate client accounts to understand their plans and anticipated needs. Maintain regular contact with clients to build relationships and identify opportunities for additional services or equipment procurement. Utilize HubSpot CRM to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with clients and stakeholders. Prepare reports on daily activities, including call and email logs, using HubSpot CRM, and update the team on progress. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and logistics, to ensure smooth execution of client transactions. Communicate effectively with team members to share insights, challenges, and successes. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures related to business development and account management. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From BD500.000 per month Application Question(s):
