Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Computer Vision engineer to join our Research and Development (R&D) department in our TV broadcast company. The engineer will be mentored, and work closely with our team of engineers, data scientists, and computer vision experts to develop, test, implement, and maintain cutting-edge computer vision algorithms and solutions to enhance our broadcasting operations. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical experience in the field of computer vision and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the TV broadcasting industry.Responsibilities:1. Collaborate across teams to design, develop, and implement computer vision algorithms and solutions for TV broadcasting applications, such as video analysis, object tracking, 3D graphics, and advertising targeting.2. Conduct research on the latest computer vision techniques, tools, and libraries to identify potential improvements and innovations for our products and services.3. Develop and maintain tools for video processing, image analysis, and data visualization to support the broadcasting operations.4. Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to computer vision algorithms and systems, and recommend improvements and optimizations.5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to ensure the successful integration of computer vision solutions into our products and services.6. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and progress to the team and stakeholders.7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and related technologies, and identify opportunities for their application within the broadcasting industry.Requirements:1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision or machine learning. Self-taught candidates must showcase their past projects and go through a code-review.2. Strong programming skills in Python or C++.3. Familiarity with machine learning and computer vision libraries/frameworks, such as OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Numba, Pillow, etc.4. Knowledge of image and video processing techniques, as well as linear algebra and statistics.5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.8. A passion for learning and staying current with the latest advancements in computer vision and related technologies.Preferred Qualifications:1. Prior experience with computer vision applications in industry or academia.2. Experience with deep learning frameworks and techniques, such as PyTorch3D, ONNX, convolutional neural networks (CNNs), transformers, etc.3.
