Senior Civil & Structure Design Engineer

We have been trading for over 14 years and take pride in delivering project specific solutions, sustainable results and added value to our clients.Solarpro India Private Limited is a part of Solarpro Group.Currently we are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Senior Civil & Structure Design Engineer.Main responsibilities:Leading Civil & structural design engineering work independently related to pre-bid stage, project development and operational engineering stage for both ground mounted and rooftop Solar Projects (PV Module supporting structure design, Knowledge of Piling design, RCC design and Steel design, electrical equipment foundations, Building and infrastructure design as per Euro and other international codes and standards);Determine project specifications by studying customer's RFP/tender RFQ requirements, and national and international standards, completing technical studies, BOQ, design, drawings, layouts etc. for Design & Engineering of the projects within agreed upon time and specs;Review design of Civil & structure design and engineering documents, specifications, calculations, technical studies and operational issues related to Civil structure/ Infrastructure and suggest corrective actions if needed, including those of vendors;Lead the process for geological, topographical, hydrological or other required technical studies finalization (Specification, BOQ, Vendor discussion, Technical Evaluation and due diligence tasks).;Support Supply Chain Management on compilation and evaluation of RFP documents (technical specifications and bill of quantities), then lead engagement with suppliers to clarity the responses;Providing technical support on any engineering issues in co-ordination with the cross function teams (CFT);Coordinate with Internal/External department/ Agencies/Vendor /Sub vendor and Technical Support teams to give integrated engineering solutions;Responsibilities include delivering the optimized technical solution to achieve best possible Civil and Structural Design.Your profile:Candidate should have a minimum B. Tech degree in civil engineering (From Tier -1 Institute);8 to 10 Years' experience in Solar PV Power Plant Designing (EPC/Consultant);Working knowledge of Auto Cad, Civil 3D, ETABS, SAFE, PV CASE, Civil design and other relevant engineering & software knowledge for ground mounted solar PV Plant design is necessary;Sound understanding of Euro & International codes/standards;Excellent client-facing/ EPC and internal communication skills;Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in all phases of PV projects including substantial and varied experience in project planning and design;Minimum 500 MW-Grid connected Solar PV projects;Proficiency in English and Hindi is necessary.
