The Knowledge Services function under MMGS aims to provide specialized services in the domain of Research, Consulting, Data Analytics, Data Science, Actuarial and Design.The Emerging Risks Group (ERG) is one of the fastest growing verticals under the Strategic Risk Consulting arm of Marsh Advisory and work in areas of Cyber, Climate, Supply Chain, Geopolitics, and other portfolio of risks. The ERG collaborates closely with the actuarial colleagues to build and run models to deliver client projects. The ERG is seeking candidates for the following position based in either Hiranandani, Mumbai or DLF Cyber City, Gurugram office:What can you expect:Emerging Risks:Help build out the value proposition for emerging risks.Perform extensive research to augment the quantitative and quantitative outputs with market intelligence.Project Contribution:Contribute on projects ranging from Cyber Risk Consulting to ESG Risk.Work with industry leaders across different business lines to develop and mature consulting practice.Financial and Statistical Analysis:Perform and develop a wide variety of financial and statistical analysis to help Marsh's clients.Conduct analysis, research, and reporting to interpret, validate, and reconcile complex data.Client Engagement:Opportunity to lead and deliver client engagements and contribute to bespoke model building.Write reports to present model outputs in non-technical/simplified language for the consumption of senior client leaders.Collaboration and Teamwork:Work alongside team members across data science and actuarial teams to ensure the timely completion of deliverables.Support our advisory stakeholders in writing reports and industry white papers.What is in it for you:Opportunity to be a part of world's leading insurance broker and risk management company.A competitive salary, employee friendly policies, health care and insurance for you and dependentsA respectful work environment that values healthy work-life balance.Chance to be a part of a dynamic work culture that rewards innovation and collaboration.Opportunity to gain experience about emerging risks and build expertise in the same.Opportunity to work on consulting projects with multi-industry exposure.Future career opportunities across a global organizationCurated training programs to bring up to speed with enhancing and building knowledge on risk management.Opportunity to work and grow in a diverse stakeholder environment with Marsh's top Risk Consultants.We will count on you to:Help build the ERG value proposition by consistently innovating and enhancing the existing solutionActively contribute to report writing and the development of bespoke modelsAssimilate and analyse data, develop and test hypotheses and prepare recommendationsAssist us in developing and employing frameworks to resolve complex business problems of our clientsDevelop and implement tailored concepts for risk recognition, measurement, and controlBuild solutions that is a combination of quantitative and qualitative inputs and techniquesCreate trend analysis, time series forecasting, benchmarking, scorecards and indicesConduct extensive research to enhance the output and improve the value proposition of the current solution.Leverage a solid understanding of business trends, issues, and concepts, to respond efficiently to complex research questions by delivering synthesized, actionable facts and insights to our consulting teams and clientsCommunicate the solution, its parameters, its assumptions and its inner workings to audiences who vary widely in their levels of technical fluency and seniorityWhat you need to have:The candidate must possess the following attributes:Masters in Economics / Business / Finance / Statistics / Econometrics etc or Engineering + MBA from a reputed university or college5 to 8 years' experience on consulting and analytics - trend analysis, time series forecasting, benchmarking, scorecards, indices etc.\Experience in consulting projects, preferably Big Four, and conducting independent secondary researchAbility to work with internal and external - including paid and publicly available data sourcesSolid functional knowledge, including but not limited to risk, strategy, manufacturing, climate change and sustainability, supply chain, cyber, project management etc.Extensive experience on working with Strategic FrameworksExpert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordStrong ability to weave a story using multiple data pointsExcellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skillsSolid understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminologyProject management and multi-tasking skillsGreat written and verbal communicationA team player with extraordinary interpersonal skills with demonstrated stakeholder managementWhat makes you stand out:Strong academic rigourFamiliarity with core statistical concepts e.g., correlation, regressions, significance values, etc.Knowhow of programming languages like Python or R and BI tools like Tableau will be a plusAbility to take initiatives to strive for improvement in analytical techniques, processes and outputsMarsh is the world's leading insurance broker and risk adviser.
