Legal Counsel (Compliance)

Requirement: Legal professional having around 5-7 years experience in a legal and compliance role.Location: Bangalore.Job Responsibilities - Experience in legal regulatory compliance including in the following areas:- Advisory to internal stakeholders on applicable regulatory requirements particularly in the areas of global data privacy and immigration (non-US).- Experience in advising/working on issues pertaining to compliance with the EU GDPR and other data protection and privacy legislations, including guidance on incident management, notification and containment.- Advising on compliance with immigration laws in EU, APAC and MEA including review of policy/guidance documents relating to requirements for business travel, work visa regulations, reporting and notification requirements.- Support on cyber security and risk management including reviewing disclosure requirements to regulators, interacting with external vendors as part of resilience building measures.- Provide guidance and assistance in reviewing/drafting policies, guidance notes, SOPs pertaining to regulatory compliance.- Monitoring risk and compliance issues and implementation of identified solutions by relevant stakeholders.Skillset Knowledge of applicable regulations including those relating to Data Privacy, Immigration, Mobility, Posted Workers and Cyber Security.Independent project management including interaction with external and internal stakeholders.Ability to manage/support on review and audit exercises in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to independently solve moderately complex issues with supervision as appropriate.Educational Qualification: Graduation/Post graduation in law.Experience - 5-7 years full-time work experience. PRB
