Senior Hardware Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:Core responsibilities include Design, development, testing, validation and Certification of various mixed signal boards for various Dover products. Debugging and resolution of EMI/EMC issues.Maintaining design documentations, Circuit modelling in software such as LT-spice/Saber.Work in a multi-disciplinary team for product development.Design responsibility for new product development with mixed signal circuits. Work with layout engineer for board layout design and ensure 1st time right designs.Support NPI by working with external supplier & Dover factories.Performing Design Calculations, Thermal analysis, Error budgeting Circuit simulation, Hands experience in using lab equipment like CRO, logic analyzer, thermal chamber etc.,Key Result Area'sExperience with combination of digital analog and Mixed Hardware Design.Experience in Low power microprocessor mixed signal hardware design.Experience in Cortex M4 Microcontrollers.Experience in SOM based Carrier board designs.Experience with design for EMC both at circuit level and layout level. Experience in testing for EMC would be an added advantage, Knowledge on product certification process (Handle testing at EMC/Safety) labs is preferred.Experience in Hazardous certification for oil and Gas, calculations and justification documentation.Experience in designing hardware for communication protocols such as Communication interface: CAN, UART, RS232, SPI, I2C, I2SExperience with Industry standards such as Bluetooth, BLE, WLAN, GPS, or other wireless protocols.Implementation experience with wireless parameter sensing technique such as ranging/ positioning preferably based on ultra-wide band signaling as well as low power design expertise is desirable.Hands on experience on board bring-up.Experience with Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer debugging, logic analyzer, protocol analyzers are required.Experience in design of power supplies - Linear, SMPS, DC/DC convertersExperience in Design of circuits involving ADC, DAC, Sensors, signal conditioning etc.,Experience in design of circuits involving Op-Amps, Transistors, MOSFETS, etc.,Knowledge on electronic circuit modelling & SimulationsDesign of circuits involving microcontroller/microprocessor, memories, various communication interfaces (CAN, I2C, SPI, RS485, Ethernet) etc.,Experience with schematic tools like Cadence design tool (OrCAD and Allegro), Altium PADs, Mentor Graphics.Knowledge n PCB requirements (placement, Routing) layout tool & fabrication.Experience in Low power solar charging and battery management system.
