Maintaining sufficient inventoryof material supplies andequipment for performance ofduties
Reporting shortage ofmaterials to(supervisor) senior radiographer IR at earliestconvenience,maintaining records for ordering andreplenishment
Performing all Interventionalimagery procedures in accordancewith department policies,procedures and protocols. Applying detailedknowledge of anatomyand physiology in order to produce images of highdiagnosticquality
Performing other relatedradiography(special) procedures as required
Evaluatingandassessing Interventional images produced for acceptablequality,appropriateness and completeness, and advising other staffwhenrequired. Forwards images to Radiologist for review andreporting
Conducting all preparations,administrations of IV contrastagents under the supervision ofsupervisor or physician
Responsible for thesafe and competent use of all radiologyequipment, patientappliances and aids used in the department.Reporting any incidentsand equipment faults or deterioration to seniorstaff in a timelymanner.
Operating advanced softwareonspecialist radiological equipment e.g. Bolus tracking,imagereconstructions, quantification and dynamicimaging#J-18808-Ljbffr
