Senior Director - Construction Claims/Disputes

Requirements:10+ years experience in engineering and/or construction managementAdditional 5+ years experience in construction claims/dispute resolutionAbility to write and peer review reports on complex construction/engineering projects and have a deep understanding of construction processes, regulations, and industry standardsBSc degree in civil engineering, quantity surveying, construction management or related fieldStrong forensic scheduling and/or delay analysis skillsTestifying experience as a delay expert is highly desirableBusiness development and client relationship management experienceRelevant professional certifications (e.g. AACE)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools; MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), MS Project, Primavera P6Responsibilities:Provide an independent assessment of the issues in question, backed by your professional expertise and factual evidenceThe preparation of expert reports and testimonies that serve as comprehensive documents that outline your findings, opinions, and the methodologies used to arrive at your conclusion, clearly presented to the parties involved, the court, or the tribunalTestify in court proceedings where you will present your findings orally, answer questions, and defend your conclusionsNavigate complex construction claims and disputes with a focus on delay & disruptionProvide the full range of dispute resolution services from the preparation of claims, the negotiation of settlements, and support and representation in mediation, adjudication, arbitration or litigationLead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and consultants, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environmentBuild and maintain strong client relationships, actively engaging with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutionsIdentify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and contribute to the growth of the company's client base
