- You will assist with the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement process along with tracking current and future jobs, reviewing contracts and drawings and specifications.
- You will coordinate equipment procurement with our purchasing department and outside vendors.
- You will be scheduling, developing the of scope of work with subcontractors, and assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reporting.
- You will communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners.
- You will work closely with our project management team and respond to questions raised by superintendents and field workers on a daily basis.
- You will work with the project team to solve problems and will gain hands-on experience in the field.
- You will create and respond to requests for information (RFI).
- You will develop, process, and track equipment, materials, and informational submittals.
- You will create site-specific work plans and create operations and maintenance manuals for our clients.
- You will process change orders, create billing breakdowns, and conduct quantify take-off and estimates.
- BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or comparable degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience in engineering, project management or construction is required
- Experience working for a General Contractor or Major Mechanical Subcontractor preferred
- Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera and/or Suretrak preferred
- Completed OSHA 30 class is required
