About the Role We are seeking a talented and professional Level 1 O365 and Network Engineer to join our Service Delivery team. This is a multifaceted role where you will work on a variety of IT projects. You will coordinate the ticketing system, provide timely and professional support to ensure high customer satisfaction and help drive resolutions on the Service Desk. As we are growing our Cyber Security services, this role includes basic security support to our clients through the management of our security awareness training platform and basic cloud security services. Your foundation knowledge of networking and cloud services including O365, will provide you with an opportunity to grow and develop your skills in the essential IT infrastructure of OBT. We pride ourselves on self-development, and we are looking for a motivated individual who will jump at the opportunity to excel and push themselves to the next level. Mandatory technical requirements include:
  • Relevant IT qualifications preferred and 1-2 years prior experience with an MSP environment.
  • Experience in supporting MS and O365 services (Exchange, OneDrive, MS Teams, Active Directory, Windows, etc.).
  • Understanding of Routing, Switching, LAN/WAN.
  • Windows Server skills.
  • Experience in Migrations.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills.
The successful candidate will also possess:
  • Microsoft Office 365 Certifications (preferred).
  • Understanding of Hyper-V or ESX (ideally both).
  • Experience with Citrix and remote desktops.
  • Ability to perform diagnostics and troubleshooting and able to research and resolve issues relating to break-fix issues.
  • Ability to relate well with clients, management, peers and vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with high-pressure situations.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
  • A sense of ownership to follow up and ensure a professional outcome.
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to support the technical team in attitude, commitment and working hours.
  • Self-motivated ability to provide technical support on products and solutions that address specific customer problems and needs.
  • Committed to growing in skill, certification, and experience.
