Please not this role is predominantly based in Manukau with an on call aspect. Te Whiwhinga Mahi| The Opportunity As a Desktop Services Technician you are an experienced Desktop Technician who is passionate about supporting end users with new processes and technology to keep up with our ever-changing digital world in the health sector. You will get to interact with a wide variety of people and make a real difference! We are looking for an experienced IT Professional in L1 or L2 desktop support Incident Management You will be resolving IT request and incidents in the end-user space, this could be in person or remotely Investigate problems and incidents for escalation to a third level team Installing and upgrading PCs hardware and Operating Systems Knowledge Management Actively involved in the creating and maintaining of technical documents Customer Service Keeping the customer informed, delivering continuous excellent customer service Nga Pukenga me nga Wheako Skills Experience You would ideally have 3-5 years' commercial IT experience, specialising in desktop support that encompassed all technology and devices in the end-user space At least 2-3 years in a similar role is preferred Ability to work autonomously Broad hands-on experience troubleshooting support issues across multiple technologies Current Microsoft certifications and experience with LAN and WAN networks would be an advantage What you can expect in return Working in health brings its own special kind of reward and we're passionate about it.
