  • Review and check tender documents to ensure that all tender documents received are correct
  • Review tender documents and assess the scope, risks involved, tender complexity, etc, and provide feedback to the General Manager
  • Conduct site inspections to analyse ground conditions, assess risk, and identify activities which are not shown in the tender documents.
  • Organise and present tender strategy, Design and Construction methodology to the Senior Management
  • Compile letter offer, tender schedules, and other items required by the tender submission.
  • If Acciona is acting as the Bid Leader: coordinate all technical documentation required by the tender such as traffic management plans, environment plans, quality plans, H&S plans, construction methodology, etc.
  • Coordination with internal team, partner (in the case of a JV), and Design Consultants
  • Ensure compliance with all tender requirements
  • Develop and maintain a detailed proposal plan for Tender Submission
  • Undertake any ad-hoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the Regional Director /General Manager.
BD Assistance:
  • Assistance to General Manager in EOIs: prepare an EOI, Technical Support, etc
  • Assistance to General Manager in Business Development Reporting
Commercial:
  • Keep up to date of industry forces that may impact the business.
  • Maintain and foster relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, clients, partner and other business contacts.
Required Skills and Competencies Qualifications and experience
  • Civil Engineer, a Civil / Structural Engineering Degree
  • Very high level of English, other languages will be positively valued '
  • Minimum 10-15 years of previous experience in the position and in mega civil work projects.
  • Experience in Design & Build Projects
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary and culturally complex teams.
  • Previous experience in Technical Office and tender processes
  • Knowledge of construction techniques in specialized subjects
  • Availability to travel according to the needs of bidding processes (bid office on site for large budget Projects.
